When Does a Modular Second Floor and Addition Make Sense:

The advantages of a modular addition are speed of construction, cost, build quality, ease of planning, energy efficiencies, and minimized relocation. The two most common questions are cost and time frame. The cost of a project is based on material, factory labor, freight, utility tie ins, structural supports, and finishing labor. The time frame will be based on the complete scope of work. The construction is usually completed within four to eight weeks.

On average the minimum square footage of a modular addition is 800 square feet. Modular efficiencies are best achieved with larger modular units, more complete living spaces, and maximizing carrier space.
