Environmental Principles

Modular Construction is an environmentally conscious method of home building.

Modular construction reduces waste, recycles unused material, and shortens construction time. The energy consumption used in building modular homes is far less than site construction. Our building methods allow us to achieve a tight building envelope minimizing air infiltration. This results in a home with greater energy efficiencies and lower operation costs.

Design

Our goal is to design homes to use less energy and have a reduced impact on the environment. Eco Design encompasses site design, sun exposure and shading, drainage requirements, and landscaping. Our homes are designed with high performance mechanical systems and energy star rated products. Our energy savings are achieved with better construction design, insulation methods and products.

Materials

Our homes are designed with materials that are renewable, long lasting and recyclable. Our homes are built with formaldehyde free materials. Our lumber can be FSC certified and many products use recycled contents. Our customers will choose their own environmental conscious building materials.

Conservation

Conservation is an ethic of resource use, allocation, and protection. Its primary focus is upon maintaining the health of the natural world: its, fisheries, habitats, and biological diversity. Secondary focus is on materials conservation and energy conservation. Modular home building incorporates the principles of conservation. Our home building methods achieve energy, material, and water conservation.
