Long Island Modular Homes builds modular System-Built structures for use in Commercial and Multi-Family projects.  We build utilizing wood frame Type V-B construction.  Type V-B construction requires fire rated assemblies for all building elements (structural frame, bearing walls, floors and roofs.  Modular structures can be built up to four stories in height, and can offer the builder, architect, or owner a myriad of design and build possibilities.  Wood frame Type V-B building allows for the high structural integrity of building while eliminating the need of expensive structural steel framing.
